This dazzling musical tells the extraordinary story of Carmen Miranda — from her arrival in Brazil as a baby from Portugal to her meteoric rise to Hollywood stardom. Presented in the lively vaudeville style of the 1930s, the 90-minute production features 22 musical numbers, a four-piece live band, and seven actors.
It is the only musical currently authorized with the official rights, and its U.S. premiere remains unreleased and exclusive. This beloved Brazilian musical play ran for over 5 years across Brazil with massive success, premiering at the Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil in São Paulo and earning multiple prestigious awards.
